Author Guidelines

Papers submitted for publication must comply with the following guidelines:

  • Papers must address Social, Humanities and Religion themes written in English/Arabic/Indonesian
  • Papers must be typed half-spaced on A4 size paper;
    The length of the paper is around 6,000-10,000 words (not including references and bibliography);
  • All submissions must include a 150-200 word abstract;
    The author's full name must be included, along with the institution and full address;
    All submissions must be in an OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format;
  • Arabic words must be transliterated according to the style of the Academic Journal: Studies of the Social Sciences, Humanities and Religion
  • Bibliographical references must be listed in the footnotes and bibliography according to the style of the Academic Journal: Study of the Social Sciences, Humanities and Religion
  • When a source is cited for the first time, full information is given: full name of author, title of source in italics, place of publication, company of publication, date of publication, and exact page. quoted. For the following citations from the same source, include the last name of the author, two or three words of the title, and a specific page number. Word in the same place. can be used, but op.cit., and loc.cit. No.

Please Consider the Following Criteria:

The title of an article submitted to an Academic Journal must reflect the specific focus of the study, based on research—either library research or field research—and thus authors may have a general statement and sub-headings that specifically limit their scope. from studying

Articles submitted must be based on research--be it library research, field research, or other types of research

Articles must present a bibliography that includes primary sources--books, manuscripts, interviews, or observations--and secondary sources that are up-to-date from peer-reviewed books or journals

Articles must contain arguments/theses/findings that contribute to the scientific discussion of a field of study, clearly stated and presented systematically in the abstract, contents, and conclusions.

Articles must use good English, or at least understandable; the author is fully responsible for correcting and editing the English language; copy editor of the Academic Journal: Social Sciences, Humanities and Religion Studies is only responsible for minor typographical errors and grammatical errors that are understandable

Style and format, including article structure, footnotes, bibliography, must follow the Academic Journal: Kajian-Sis Sosial, Humanities and Religion
