Abstract

In national and state life, of course a country has its own uniqueness that differentiates that nation from other nations, which is called national identity. National identity is the identity of a nation/state. A low understanding of national identity will have an impact on a low sense of nationalism as well. This research method is a qualitative approach, namely a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. Qualitative research with library research instruments. The concepts of world citizenship, global citizenship, and cosmopolitanism in the global era show the existence of connectivity and interdependence between people in all parts of the world. The urgency of patriotism education in the global era is related to providing learning materials about global citizenship education to instill concern for universal humanitarian issues.
