Kitab nasikh mansukh karya Imam Qatadah merupakan salah satu karya paling awal dalam bidang nasikh mansukh Al-Quran. Kelebihan utama kitab ini adalah sistematika penyusunannya yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami, dimana Imam Qatadah menyusun pembahasan berdasarkan urutan surat dalam Al-Quran. Hal ini memudahkan pembaca dalam mencari dan merujuk ayat-ayat yang dinasakh maupun yang menasakh. Dari segi metodologi, kitab ini menampilkan pembahasan yang ringkas dan langsung pada pokok permasalahan.
