Abstract

The phenomenon of Geratis Nutritious Eating (MBG) is still experiencing a number of problems in the Nias Islands, Gunungsitoli City. The most basic thing of this research is the rights and protection of junior high school students in Gunungsitoli City who are very Muslim, while the majority religion in Gunungsitoli City, Nias Islands is Christian. Therefore, this study will answer a number of questions, such as how do Muslim junior high school (SMP) students in Gunungsitoli City respond to the presence of Geratis Nutritious Meals (MBG) in their schools?, what is their view on the halal status of a food in Geratis Nutritious Meals (MBG)? The research method uses qualitative research by conducting interviews and direct field in-person. The results of the study show that the response of Muslim students at the junior high school (SMP) level in Gunungsitoli City, Nias Islands is very eager for the presence of Geratis Nutritious Meals (MBG) so that they can experience the Government's program. In addition, they are also Muslim students in the First Level (SMP) who want halal guarantee protection for Geratis Nutritious Meals (MBG) because they are Muslims who are a minority in the Nias Islands.
