Abstract

Justice is increasingly eroded by time. Many people no longer pay attention to justice. The aim of this research is to find out what the concept of justice actually is in legal philosophy? The method used is library research. Research results show that justice includes efforts to find harmony, equality, truth, and make decisions regarding violations that have been officially regulated. This reflects the procedural aspects of justice. With the existence of procedural justice, it is hoped that substantial justice will be realized; rather, without it, substantial justice cannot be achieved. Without substantial justice, procedural justice will not reach the substance of people's lives. Justice is an abstract concept that shapes our perspective. Ultimately, in formulating policies, the government is expected to be able to find a concept of justice for the common good, and the courts, in handing down decisions, are required to achieve justice in the implementation of the law.
