The Naqshbandi Order is one of the oldest Sufi orders in Indonesia brought by Sheikh Ahmad Daun Nabundong. This order has unique spiritual characteristics in its practices that differ from other Sufi orders. This paper aims to explore the history of the arrival of the Naqshbandi Order to Indonesia through Sheikh Ahmad Daun Nabundong and the distinctive spiritual practices of the order. The research method used is qualitative with historical. Data were obtained through literature studies. The results show that the Naqshbandi Order first entered Indonesia in the 17th century AD, brought by Sheikh Ahmad Daun Nabundong. The main spiritual practices of this order are silent remembrance (dhikr khafi) and spiritual healing. Silent dhikr is a remembrance done secretly in the heart without voice. As for spiritual healing, it is a process of cleansing the soul under the guidance of a spiritual master. These two spiritual practices aim to bring oneself closer to Allah SWT. In conclusion, the Naqshbandi Order brought by Sheikh Ahmad Daun Nabundong has a unique spiritual character that demonstrates the richness of Sufi tradition in Indonesia. Further research needs to be done on the history, teachings, and development of this order going forward.
